You guys use this blog to report issues and updates mostly. Would it be possible to talk about new or existing grant programs here?
For example. When you roll out a grant you could do a nice introduction about it here and we could share ideas and learn more.
Thank you for your recent post suggesting ways in which the Grants.gov Program Management Office (PMO) can improve communications with the grants community with respect to new and existing grant programs through the use of the Grants.gov Blog. The Grants.gov PMO is responsible for providing support and assistance for all 26 Federal grant making agencies in the posting of grant opportunities and acceptance of grant applications. Unfortunately the PMO does not have the resources to provide daily postings and monitoring of this type on the Blog due to the volume of grant opportunities that we support on a daily basis. However; we have devoted an entire page on the Grants.gov website in which both applicants and grantors can subscribe to receive email notifications on new, upcoming and modified grant opportunities. Additionally, both applicants and grantors have access on the website to up-to-date user guides and other tutorials, a comprehensive list of frequently asked questions and answers, archives of our Quarterly Stakeholder Webcasts, and our quarterly Newsletters, just to name a few. We recently added the iPortal to our website which features answers to the top 10 requested help topics, a searchable knowledge base, self service ticketing and ticket status, and live web chat options (available 7:00 A.M. - 9:00 P.M. ET). Grants.gov also provides applicant support through our Contact Center 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
